LJ Parks is an imaginative guitarist and singer-songwriter based in nipaluna/Hobart, Tasmania. Originally from Victoria's surf coast, her music is playfully wry and sentimental, influenced by the wild expanses of nature and the absurdity of everyday life. An AFMA Finalist for Youth Folk Artist of The Year and winner of the Cygnet Folk Festival Youth Blackboard Competition, she brings forth a powerful voice and whimsical charm as a solo performer and leader of the LJ Parks Band.
