The short story…
LJ Parks is a Tasmanian troubadour with a powerful voice, dynamic guitar riffs and playfully wry lyrics. Her music combines elements of contemporary folk, outlaw country and alternative rock with roguish charm and whimsical irreverence.
She’s performed at many esteemed festivals across Australia, received the Cygnet Folk Festival Emerging Artist Award, was a finalist in the Gympie Music Muster Talent Search and is a two time nominee for Youth Artist of the Year in the Australian Folk Music Awards. LJ will also participating in the 2025 CMAA Country Music Academy at Tamworth Music Festival.
