The short story…

LJ Parks is a Tasmanian troubadour with a powerful voice, dynamic guitar riffs and playfully wry lyrics. Her music combines elements of contemporary folk, outlaw country and alternative rock with roguish charm and whimsical irreverence.

She’s a recipient of the Cygnet Folk Festival Emerging Artist Award, a nominee in the Australian Folk Music Awards and a graduate of the CMAA Academy of Country Music. She was also a top 10 finalist in the Gympie Music Muster Talent Search and has performed at esteemed festivals all across Australia.
